The Rastafari movement is sometimes referred to as “Rastafarianism”. This term is considered derogatory and offensive by some Rastas. What is de I’s reasoning on “ism”???

‘ism’ is related to religion and sects…it is about division and not unity, thus saying “Rastafarianism” makes it a religion and “a” way of life and not life itself as it should be. Isms and schISMS are not Rastafari….that is why it is incorrect.
